A respected Orange County law firm is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an attorney who is passionate about immigration law and enjoys advising clients on complex employment-based and family-based immigration matters. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, collaborate with clients and legal staff, and provide strategic counsel throughout the immigration process.Key ResponsibilitiesManage employment-based and/or family-based immigration matters from intake through final adjudicationPrepare and review petitions, applications, filings, and supporting documentationAdvise clients on immigration strategies, compliance requirements, and case optionsHandle H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, PERM, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, adjustment of status, consular processing, and family-based matters, as applicableRespond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and other government inquiriesConduct legal research and provide guidance on complex immigration issuesCommunicate regularly with clients, government agencies, and foreign nationals regarding case status and requirementsSupervise and collaborate with paralegals and support staffMonitor case deadlines and ensure compliance with USCIS, DOL, DOS, and EOIR requirementsMaintain accurate case records and client communicationsWhy This OpportunityContract-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potentialJoin a collaborative and growing immigration practiceDirect client contact and significant case responsibilityCompetitive compensation and benefits potential upon conversionOpportunity to work on sophisticated immigration matters
