Compensation

Hourly: $310/hour
Overtime: $470/hour
Night Call: $430/shift

Schedule

Typical Onsite Hours: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Call Coverage: Remaining 16 Hours
Call Type: Beeper / Phone Call
Typical Rotation: 1 Week On / 1 Week Off

Patient Population / Volume

100% Neonatal Patients
100% Inpatient
Average Daily Census: Approximately 14 Patients
Level III NICU

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide Inpatient Neonatology Coverage
Manage Neonatal Patients in a Level III NICU
Provide Required After-Hours Call Coverage
Perform Neonatal Intubation
Perform Umbilical Venous Catheter (UVC) Placement
Perform Lumbar Puncture
Perform PICC Line Placement
Provide Other Procedures and Clinical Care Expected in a Level III NICU

Level III NICU
No Leadership or Teaching Responsibilities Required
Epic EMR

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible Within 5 Years - Required
Neonatology Fellowship Training - Required
At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Neonatology - Required
Active Michigan Medical License or Willing to Obtain - Required
NRP - Required
DEA Registration - Required
Level III NICU Skills and Procedural Competency - Required
Clean Background - Highly Preferred

Credentialing

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 3-4 Months
