Job Title: Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician Profession: Medical Laboratory Specialty: Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must be a graduate from an approved program Certifications: Proficient in phlebotomy, Blood Bank testing required Must-Have: Microbiology experience preferred Ability to perform gram stains, planting cultures, and blood cultures Ability to work independently Ability to communicate proficiently Ability to multitask and prioritize Familiarity with Covid regulations (PPE, isolation rooms, etc.) Description: Seeking qualified Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician for a 13-week assignment. Candidates must have graduated from an approved program. Shifts are 3-12 hours, rotating weekends, usually every fifth weekend. No on-call shift required. Opportunity to fill in for Thursday night shift and pick up vacancies if not filled with regular staff. Candidates must be proficient in phlebotomy and capable of performing Blood Bank testing. Holiday work will be required on a rotating basis. Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts within 12 weeks.
